To receive meals from Tangelo, some health plans require a nutrition counseling session with a registered dietitian before you can start. Other plans offer this as a free, optional service at any time during your meal benefit.
The average session lasts about 30 minutes. During your appointment, a dietitian will talk with you about:
Healthy eating habits
The role of nutrients in your health
Tips for making better food choices
How your diet may relate to your medical condition
